Old habits die hard!

I have a new strategy. I am going to put away the scale and I’m going to take one day at a time. Just because I failed today does not mean I will fail tomorrow. If I have gained any personal insight this past week it’s has truly been my life  long friend. I learned the comfort of food when dealing with trauma in my childhood and I took those habits with me into adulthood.  I have an eating disorder, I’m in a personal relationship with food. Today I will be self aware and accept that I have this cross. I am weak at the knees for food.

I believe that with God’s grace and with the right plan I can carry this cross with love and acceptance.
